Es Nimmt Zwei

pic:hakanphotography

If you haven't got into Siriusmo yet, go and buy his last E.P. right now. No doubt you're already all over Boys Noize, and are already eargerly awaiting the remixed version of OiOiOi, and their new mix for Bugged Out. Individually these guys have been killing it, but when they get together, extra nice things happen.

Siriusmo - Mein Neues Fahrrad (Boys Noize Edit)

Boys Noize - &Down (Siriusmo vs. Boys Noize Remix)

Ed Banger MixMag Mix (Mag?)

This is worth a listen. Just came out for this month's Mixmag. There are a couple of dodgy mixes here and there, and it feels a bit rushed, but it's still pretty fun...

Français-Pun-A-Time

Bang
pic:sctaylor

Feelin’ a bit Français, plus I’ve been meaning to put this first track up for ages. Fair enough, Yelle's 'Ce Jeu' has been remixed so many times, perhaps too many (Big Stereo had a competition and everything) but I think this is one of the most under-rated and fun of the bunch. The second track is a remix of Sonny J’s ‘Enfant Terrible,’ I know he isn’t French, but it’s got the words ‘oui’ and ‘non’ in it, which is tenuous enough for this camper…

Yelle – Ce Jeu (Cool Kids Can’t Die remix)

Suits You

so i've found you all a whole load of ways to empty your bank account.. first up is the new jumpers from the revolver stories camp. a sparkly logo'd (nice) revolver sweat and also a collab with ed banger... revolvED, geddit.

next up is some new stuff from parra, he really has been busy, a whole bunch of new custom sweats are available over on the rockwell site

and speaking of parra, sixpack has had a site revamp and a whole array of classic parra t-s are fully in stock... if you're a beyond the wizards sleeve fan, his 'straight from the wizards sleeve' shirt is peerrrfect. the sites got a few glitches at the moment when you're trying to flick through various shirts but i'm sure that will be sorted out soon.

enjoy!

Tit for Tache

pic:dirtydirtydancing

I see this guy every time I go out in London, he's got such a good tache. I hope he's reading this. Been meaning to put this first track up for ages. If you still think rave is cool, get it, if not, get it anyway.

Outlander - Vamp (Dirty Disco Youths Rave-Work)
Whilst Nid & Sancy give it up for m.u.s.i.c....

Nid & Sancy - M.U.S.I.C. (SymbolOne Remix)

And there's some more from my old mate Fred. Permanently chilled guy. I'd love to have a cocktail with him, or a croissant or something. On a beach.

Check The Frequency

pic:chuckhead

Some bands just commission good remixes. The Ghost Frequency are most certainly one of those bands. Destroy Disco kill it on their new single. Speaker Junk's effort from a little while back still fully represents.

Synthful

ccc
pic:terry richardson

Two upbeat little pleasers here. Both remind me of Lo-Fi Fnk mixed with someone else, in the first track I think it's Goose, and in the second it's definitely Kavinsky. It's a daily dose of synth anyway. Inject.

More stuff from dudes that have been pretty consistent in recent years. Alex Gopher's 'Aurora', remixed by family favourites Riot In Belgium, and AC Slater hitting the decks with his remix of C.Y.O.A. Instant smile for these tunes...

Just a lowly, lowly cook

A good friend of mine is the composer for this teen comedy skins. He goes by the name of (fat) segal. If you happened to catch the opening episode of the second series, you'll agree with me that the song was heavy. Here is the edit version that was on the show....the full version should be released...at some point.

Segal - Clutch (Edit)

The 'Wish I Had A Moustache' Mix

The newest mix in my little series. Had a lot of fun making this one. It's pumping.

Took My Time

pic:lastnightsparty

i've had this song sitting on my computer for a while now without really paying attention to it, there's been so many remixes of this track that you start tuning out. HOWEVER now that i finally have listened up, i'm kicking myself for not having put it on constant repeat sooner... if you like this track you can pick up the rest of the single over on juno or beatport or wherever

Loose Cannons - WHYD4ML (Stupid Fresh Remix)

and while we're on the subject of tracks that have been remixed to death, here's snoop dogg's sexual eruption finally done justice by dirty south

Ed Rec Vol. 3

ok so we all remember the mad stampede, numerous selling outs and high ebay prices for the ed rec vol. 2 shirts? well it's time for it to happen all over again! this saturday the ed rec vol 3 shirts go on sale over on arcade mode... you better be FAST if you're wanting one...

Candy floss and fuzzy baby rabbits... or something

It's valentines. But that doesn't mean you need to go without your wobble bass. Bart B More doesn't disappoint, as always.

I'm sure there's a way you can play this to your sweetheart.

X To The Para One

pic:guybourdin

I fu**ing love Para One, ever since the remix of Daft Punk's 'Prime Time of Your Life' he and Surkin have developed a certain sound that really gets me goin'. You really don't expect the sick bassline to come in half way through, it's just great.

And to make up for my lack of action i'm gonna slam a lot of hot tracks on here, right now, starting with Fred Falke's new single. It's so kind to your ears. Look at the title and you'll know exactly what to expect.

Gloved Up

These babies are pretty cool. G.L.O.V.E.S. are getting around a bit and 'Dead Skin' is definitely their coolest track yet. It's quite rocky and sounds like the kind of music you'd expect that cool little blue alien band to be playing in the Daft Punk Discovery videos (you know, the one in the stadium.) I have played air guitar to this.

Gloves - Dead Skin

Young Americans - 'Cold Act III' is a really nice mix of gorgeous synths with a tiny bit of 'crunk' attitude. I heard crunk means 'crazy drunk,' is that true? Really need to start using it if so, though I may have to r-r-remix it to 'crazy-ass drunk,' everything benefits from ass these days...
