More hot shit in the LDN coming up. As I'm sure you're aware, we at Dance Club are big fans of Andy George and everything that is going down at Moda. So of course we're looking forward to him playing Hoxton Bar & Kitchen at Voodoo. Tired Irie, Ezra Bang and The Hot Machine, Invasion and Portasound are playing too.

In other news....The Brunettes are playing an intimate little gig at London Under The Westway. Should be cosy. Tickets here and here.

Free stuff

pic:hakanphotography

An amazing promotional compilation from the 'Timewarp' series was released yesterday. It's got Boys Noize, Tiefschwarz, and a whole host more. It's well worth checking out, and what's more, it's free. Get it from beatport.

This is the pick of the bunch, an absolutely banger of a remix by Tim Deluxe of Alter Ego's Why Not?

Alter Ego - Why not?! (Klang Elektronik)(Tim Deluxe Remix)

It's still totally scarf weather!

Check out what Institubes have up over on Arcade Mode! The scarves are limited, so hurry up. They're only 15€. Could you imagine a better way to deal with a chilly Spring? It did always bother me that there were so few ways to represent French house in the cold. And that's not all....

They also have Justice Winter '08 tour tees available. You lucky things.

Again? Yes again.

And on that subject... Domino were kind enough to bring to our attention the new Detboi remix of the classic, Beeper. Good times. I just will not get tired of remixes of this track.

James over at Your Army was also lovely enough to send the EP mixed...

Snap, Crackle and Fidget.

So The Bulgarian and Lee Mortimer are playing The Egg courtesy of Snap, Crackle and Pop April 11th. And I'm pretty exciting about it. These songs should get you in the mood for them... (incl Lee's other guise, Sawtooth Sucka).

Bryan Cox - Let's Go To Work (The Bulgarian Remix)

Mamma M.I.A.

Been after this tune for so long. It's typical Soulwax which can only be a good thing. I can even stand Mick Jagger's rank voice it's that good, which is really saying something...

The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want (Soulwax Remix)

Have my mate Alistair to thank for this one, another slice of DFA pie, this time M.I.A. flavoured:

M.I.A. - Paper Planes (DFA Remix)

Going to Belarus for 3 weeks, so won't be able to post, but you know Jazz? and James John will keep you dancing!

Slide to me, we could be HEAVY

pic:dementee

we all remember the timbaland edits that were flying at us from every direction towards the end of last year. too many and you just stop listening... i mean, the new needy girl remixes that are STILL surfacing just don't create the excitement they once did right... i just hope that you all paid attention to the haydn haydn take on the way i are, it was heeavy. and good news, he's back, and this track is heavier than ever....

Haydn Haydn - Slide Action

Gagging for it

i've been getting you all excited about the new stuff parra's been serving up both here and here over the past month or so... well i'm not done yet. there are even MORE sick new designs for you to spend your dollar on available now over on the rockwell site. ranging from a 'first i would like to thank god' slogan, to an aptly titled 'titty twister'. classic.

Fabian

pic:arnaudlajeunie

This guy got in contact with us a while ago but it somehow got lost in the pile. Luckily, digging through recently I came across these mp3s and decided to right this wrong. Fabian is early twenties, Melbourne based, with a style he describes as 'all bangers, no mash.' It's guitar-synth heavy, I guess a bit like Shinichi Osowa, and it doesn't mess around. For an up-and-coming producer it's pretty exciting stuff, so please support his myspace which has excellent remixes and tracks of his own, and get your hands on these full quality versions that he so promptly whizzed over to dance club:

Fabian - Pow Pow Pow

Alex Gopher - The Game (Fabian remix)

Kwassa matter with you?

bah
pic: la beauté nouvelle sera de situation

Every time i'm about to put a track up, jazz or james john beat me to it. So i'll safely assume you got the sebastian remix, and that you probably won't bother listening to this as it's a different remix of the same track posted yesterday. I'm gonna put it up anyway because I like it, if just for the funk ass bassline. I'm actually pretty happy we're on the same wavelength to be honest, gonna beat those guys to the new Shane Ward track though! You know it!

Midfield General - Disco Sirens (Them Jeans Edit)

Also check this out, it's pretty chilled, very Avalanches...

Vampire Weekend - Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa (Black Dominoes remix)

Ghostface Killah, a member of everybody's favourite ninja-movie obsessed rap crew, The Wu-Tang Clan, has a new single out called Charlie Brown. It comes with a remix by Guns'n'Bombs. Which is pure fire. There are also remixes by DJ Mehdi, DJ Orgasmic and Yuksek. Which means you should totally check it out. Bird Peterson completes the clan theme.

Ghostface Killah - Charlie Brown (Guns N Bombs Remix)

Wu-Tang Clan - The Jump Off (Bird Peterson Remix)

I can't think of a segway into this next track.. apart from that it is also very good. As is all Boy 8 Bit's stuff. Get on it.
